If you love GIGANTIC pizza slices with tons of cheese, flavor and deliciousness, you need to keep on reading. And if you don’t, please tell me what’s wrong with you
and who hurt you so badly.
No, but seriously, how can anyone not like pizza?
Lazy Moon Pizza: Build your own slice of deliciousness
Thats right, folks. If you haven’t been to Lazy Moon, you need to do yourself a favor and go right now. Well, maybe after you’re done reading this post.
This is one of those places where I had to stop myself from ordering way too many slices me because I knew my future self would regret it, but this was a hard task. I promise.
If you read my Anthony’s Thornton Park foodventure you know I’m on a mission to find Orlando’s best pizza place. I can certainly say that Lazy Moon has been one of my favorites during this pizza investigation mission. And I’ve tried a lot of places!
Let’s get this foodventure started:
When you first arrive you have to decide if you’re going to order by the slice of if you’re in for the whole pizza. I wouldn’t recommend the second one unless you’re: a- insane, b- with a huge group of friends that love pizza way too much (just like I do). Because these pizzas are seriously huge. I’m not kidding.
We went for the first choice and decided to build our own pizza slice. You can pick from a wide variety of ingredients, and even chose your own sauce base or the cheese you’d like. I promise myself we would go again just so I can try a pesto slice! Anyone volunteers for another pizza mission?
Anyway, I went for two of my favorite topping choices: mushrooms and Italian sausage, G replaced the sausage for pepperoni on his slice. They were both equally amazing. Prices were great as well, you can get a slice for under $7 if you decide on two toppings. Prices obviously increase if you decide to add more, but I think it’s worth it for the size of slice you’re getting.
Bonus points: they’re open until 2am so you can totally stop by after a night out (or as a complement to your pregame), or just stuff your face with pizza at 1am because you can. No judging here.
I’m not exaggerating when I say that they’re extremely good. One of the best pizza slices I’ve had in Orlando.
Please let me know if you have any other amazing pizza places I should try for the sake of my pizza mission, I’d love to know what hidden gems are around here. And if you’ve been to Lazy Moon, what’s your favorite combination? Also, has anyone had pesto pizza? I need to try it.
TL;DR: Lazy moon is DA BOMB. Go and get yourself a gigantic pizza slice, you’ll be thanking me later.
